So, I’m down to the last 100+ copies of the City Morgue Magazine of which I have only 5 or 6 issues. Because they’ve simply too precious to end up recycled I’ve been putting them in the hands of young goths from Maine to Florida and New Orleans to Dublin, Ireland. It’s still exceptionally cool to see the faces light up when a girl says, “Where did this come from?” or a guy says, “Wow, this is great.”
Christian Avery Bryant here, Issues 9 and 10. Thanks to City Morgue for publishing my first fiction. I went on to work with a few more magazines in the early 2000’s before getting married and pausing the writing to raise kids and instill my love of all things horror in them! I loved City Morgue and really credit y’all for me getting published again after CM. Nice to have a chance to see the old work and to be able to thank you.

Looks like fun to me!

The rifle, which isn't real, was added for a little humorous irony. Oddly, only my city friends seem to get it.
Redheaded, red penned editor.
